On July 20, 2013, a festival of culinary heritage took place in Rezekne, Latvia. The festival was part of the project Bella Cuisine that brings together Latvian and Belarusian culinary business aiming to preserve national culinary traditions and to attract tourists through the European Network of Culinary Heritage. The funding for the project was provided by the European Union, while Interakcia together with Latvian and Belarusian partners are implementing the initiative.
The first meeting of the organizations that will implement the project is to take place in Glubokoe, Vitebsk region, on July 25-26. Interakcia is the lead partner of the initiative, and the biggest part of the funding was provided by the European Union. The project Small Rivers – Big Challenges should help not only protect small rivers in Vitebsk region, but also engage local citizens in such environmental activities.
Information seminar for private and state-owned culinary businesses will take place in Polotsk on June 25-26, 2013, within the EU project Bella Cuisine.
