HOW TO IMPROVE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. TRAINING WAS CONDUCTED IN VOLOZHIN DISTRICT

Participants of the training in Volozhin district are being taught how to adapt infrastructure and services for people with disabilities. Training is being conducted in agroland “KONI-PONY” on March, 30-31 in the frames of the project “Volozhin without barriers”, which is being implemented with financial support from the European Union. Middle and senior management i.e. deputy chairman of executive committee, heads of departments of executive committee, heads of social services, heads of museums, heads of agrolands take part in the training.


THERE IS NO PEOPLE BUT TRANSPORT ON THE STREET. IT WAS DISCUSSED IN MINSK, HOW TO MAKE BELARUSIAN CITIES COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYBODY

While it is comfortable to drive a car on the street, a bicycle will not be chosen. How to unload the city without negative feedback from motorists and prove that public transport is not a loser’s choice? What wise city decisions will materialize in future? Conference on sustainable urban mobility was held in Minsk with the financial support of European Union. More than 20 speakers from 5 countries discussed the topics of sustainable city development, public transport development, wise city decisions. 


DILIGANCE TOURS, MAKING BREAD WORKSHOPS. TOURIST PRODUCTS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WERE DEVELOPED IN VOLOZHIN DISTRICT

Participants of the training in Volozhin district developed creative products for people with disabilities. Agroland owners, social workers, museum workers, farmers, artisans, were in the homestead “Hanka” on March, 23-24. Training “Creating universal recreational products and services” was organized by Belarusian Public Association Country Escape with financial support from the European Union.
