This is the first accessible nature trail in Belarus. “Bielakorac” is situated in Valozhyn district, near village of the same name. Trail was built within the framework of EU-funded project “Valozhyn without barriers”.

Irina Ivanova, Project Manager of "Valozhyn without barriers"

"Such nature trail has never been built in Belarus. Patners, contractors and projectors were doing it for the first time. For sure, we made mistakes and first road surface didn't work. But after long negotiations and work on errors we received desirable outcome. Now surface is as it should be and wheelchair users can enjoy this place "

Trail has lenght of 1.3 km. There are interactive stands, tactile maps and models, accessible arbors and toilets. Information on stands is designed accroding to “easy language” concept and duplicated with Braille. Tourists can play a game with birds, get to know fishes from Islach river, hug trees and gather herbal tea. Tactile models and maps will introduce guests to animals from Naliboki forest and mark the path.

Inclusive camp will take place near Bielakorac in the middle of August. Participants will make up and create inclusive spaces on the trail and prepare music festival. Join volunteer team before June 25: http://valozhyn-volunteers.tilda.ws/open-call
